We had a good time having our custom home built by Driftwood Homes. Driftwood is an interesting outfit in that it has a steady full crew of capable and efficient workers. When certain skilled or messy trades are required, Driftwood hung around and made sure everything was properly done. But what I liked most of all were the discussions about what was best for the house and how our desires could be accommodated. Even with our schedule of unique materials (600-year-old wood floors, Japanese fiber cement exterior panels and wall hung toilet‘s, thick glass cantilevered countertops), Driftwood went start to finish in one year.
